OAK CHINQUAPIN/CHICKAPIN

Chinquapin Oak or CHinkapin NATIVE Quercus muehlenbergii  AKA yellow chestnut oak, rock oak or yellow oak. Fall colors  yellow-orange to orangish-brown in fall. . Grows 40'-50' in a landscape setting. Chinquapin oak acorns are the preferred food for wild turkeys, grouse, white-tailed deer, black bears, chipmunks, squirrels and hogs. Cattle will eat the leaves.

We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag. No shipment of  5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
